William Widmaier is a leader of creative teams (marketing & product design) by profession. His somewhat quieter other life is that of a writer. He has been a magazine columnist, the editor-in-chief of The Memoirs Project (a non-profit that worked with the French Consulate to capture and memorialize stories of veterans who fought in France during WWII), a popular short story writer, and most notably is a produced film screenwriter (Warner Bros./Concord).
William was born in the United States in the early 60s, but grew up spending many a long childhood vacation at his French grandparents’ home in St. Tropez, France. Memories of these times in the south of France were the foundation for the stories in A Feast at the Beach.
A Feast at the Beach is his first novel. He’s working on his second.
